Another day, another senseless gun tragedy in America -

“Chris Kyle, an ex-Navy SEAL who wrote the bestselling book American Sniper about his service in Iraq, was shot and killed at a gun range in Texas, multiple outlets reported Saturday night. A second man was also killed.”

This happened on a shooting range where just about everyone, criminals and law abiding citizens alike are armed – Which begs the question -

What about Wayne LaPierre’s bullshit theory of The Only Thing That Will Stop A Bad Guy With A Gun Is A Good Guy With A Gun?

My assumption is there were plenty of good guys with guns at the shooting range, including the victim, an ex Navy Seal and author of the book American Sniper. Those credentials indicate to me that he was a gun expert and yet, he is now dead – the victim of gun violence.

So for all you gun loving maniacs out there who believe that we can solve our murder rate by giving everyone a gun, think of Chris Kyle and ask yourself, why is he now dead, he was armed after all?
