Ground beef processor AFA Foods filed for bankruptcy today. The company is a major producer of “Pink Slime”, the poisonous shit we have been feeding ourselves and our families for a decade or more. It turns out that when people find out that they are being fed cow puke that is treated with ammonia, they get upset and stop buying it. Well, a lot of people stop buying it – I have had my share of burgers since I learned about it. But the good news is, the bad publicity was enough to force AFA into bankruptcy.
